Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Planning Committee to be held on Monday 7th November 2022 at 7.30pm in Meeting Room 2 at The Radlett Centre.

    New planning guidance on Biodiversity, Carbon Offsetting and Parking - public consultation Hertsmere Borough Council has published three draft Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs), which provide detailed advice and guidance on a number of current planning policies. The draft SPDs have been prepared to help ensure development has a positive effect on the environment and you are invited to submit any comments on them as part of a public consultation. In 2019, the council declared a climate emergency, committing to achieving net-zero emissions no later than 2050 and in 2020, an interim Planning Policy Position Statement on Climate Change. The public consultation will run from Tuesday 4th October until 5pm on Tuesday 15th November 2022. The SPDs were also approved by the council’s Executive in September for interim use in the consideration of planning applications determined on or after 15th September 2022.
